This past Saturday, singer Vanessa Carlton announced that she is a “proud bisexual woman.” Good for her. So, in homage to her bravery, I’m presenting to you my carefully chosen top girl crushes. I’m not ashamed to do this “pause-worthy” post because, after all, I’m a girl and girls can do things like this.
Lea Michele - Ok, I’ve never seen an episode of “Glee” (Ok, except for the Britney Spears episode I wouldn't dare miss). I die for the arts, but I’m not into musicals. But who can refute the absolute cuteness of this girl. She won me over @ the 2010 Grammy Awards. She absolutely owned 
that red carpet. Not to mention she has an adorable personality to kill for. What a sweet girl she is (I don’t believe those diva rumors!). And this may be the sexiest thing about her yet; she shares a birthday with Michael Jackson! If that’s not crush-worthy, I don’t know what is, folks.
Stacey Dash - No brainer. I mean, I can’t even begin to tell you what “Clueless” did to my young life. Even then, I saw myself in Cher’s no-nonsense having, “I’m calling your mother!” declaring, brown girl ‘tude having, unapologetically brutal & bougie high-school best friend Dionne Davenport. Despite her hefty hiatus from major hollywood productions, I’ve always had Dash on my radar. Forget the constant “this woman looks good for her age” and “black don’t crack” flattery, she’s been this stunning for years.
Scarlett Johansson - Yes, “S” is for SMOKIN’. I’ve always adored smokin’ Scarlett. Her potty mouth, those lips, (those lips!), her poise and confidence. She’s such a guy’s girl. We love that. And can we talk about “Iron Man”? I remember sitting in the movie theater, totally mad at my date…then suddenly all of my problems drifted away when Scarlett popped on the screen & put me in a sweet, seductive trance. I was no longer interested in the plot line (okay, I was never really interested in the plot line) and grew antsy waiting for Jo’s reappearance. Afterwards when asked how I liked the movie, all I could manage to say (for the umpteenth time) was, “Scarlett Jo was hot!” Er, what movie?
